Body Waxing FAQ’s
What is waxing?
When hair is removed with wax, the hair is pulled out from the follicle. When it grows back, it is finer not a stubble. Shaving the hair is cutting it off at the level of the skin, so when it grows out you have stubble and a greater chance of having in-grown hair.
Do You Provide Your Services to Men?
Yes, absolutely. All body waxing services available to our female customers are also available to men, including Brazilian body waxing.
What is a Brazilian?
All hair is removed in the pubic area, all the way back to the buttocks and anus.
Does a Brazilian Wax Hurt?
No doubt this is a sensitive area, and you are getting this coarse hair removed from the follicle on delicate skin.
Should I Wax or Tan First?
Definitely wax first if you want to keep your tan for longer. Just make sure you leave a little bit of time in between the two so your skin can heal. Waxing tends to irritate the skin, and make it vulnerable for the first couple of days. So you don’t want to irritate it by hitting it with heat right away. I suggest about 3-4 days in between if you’re going to tan.
What Type of Wax is Used?
Two types of wax are generally used. Hard wax and strip wax. Hard wax should be used in the more sensitive areas. Hard wax does not stick to the skin and if used correctly will result in minimal discomfort. For large areas such as backs, legs, etc., I use strip wax, as this is ideal for quick and thorough waxing.
